What do we do?

Each year, volunteers representing the local restaurant community host an event called “The Jacksonville FOODFIGHT.” The event features some of Jacksonville’s finest restaurants and beverage wholesalers/distributors. Everyone comes together to “take a bite out of hunger” by raising funds and awareness for Nourishment Network.

Each participant is provided booth space to hand out small tasting portions of the signature dish or cocktail of their choice. Approximately 1,000 guests are expected to attend the event and enjoy the samplings provided by the best in the industry. Learn More…

The 25th Annual Jacksonville FOODFIGHT will be held at the EverBank Field Touchdown Club East on Thursday, June 4, 2015. The event will feature local restaurants, beverage distributors and caterers engaging in a friendly competition showcasing their signature dishes. In addition to the fabulous food and spirits, live entertainment will provided by Jacksonville favorite, The Band Be Easy.

Approximately 1,000 guests are expected to attend the event and enjoy the samplings provided by the best in the industry. Last year, over $90,000 was raised at the event with all proceeds benefiting the Nourishment Network.

Proceeds benefit Nourishment Network, a hunger-relief program of Lutheran Social Services of Northeast Florida, as well as the other local community service programs included under the Lutheran Social Services umbrella.
